Careers of Directors
In making a film, directors do a little bit of everything. They get behind the camera, they work with the editors, and communicate with actors. Some directors have a particularly deep involvement in their films—sometimes they're a producer or an actor. Here we have the profiles of several directors; each of their films are ordered chronologically, and you can get more information on a film if you hover over the dots. There are 25 directors from a variety of countries and time periods.
